Prenatal Consultation
60-120 minutes (depending on setting)
The prenatal consultation is a 1:1 visit with the mother to be and her partner. 60-90 minutes in length, this session will help set the stage for breastfeeding success. For high-risk pregnancies, questions are answered regarding preparation for a possible NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) stay. Topics range from preparation, expectations during your hospital/NICU stay (if needed) including empowering ways to continue to connect with your baby, and how to ensure success once baby is home!
Lactation Evaluation
60-90 minutes
A comprehensive lactation/feeding evaluation may be provided to ensure breastfeeding/feeding success after birth or for any mother-infant pair or family who may be struggling with feeding - breast or bottle. A history, physical exam, and observation of the feed will be conducted with shared strategies and practical tips.
Nutrition Services
60 minutes
Our licensed and registered dietitian is here for you AND your baby. Whether you need personal, tailored advice or a solid plan to succeed, we offer comprehensive, functional nutrition education via Telehealth. Visits are scheduled and provided as needed. Fill out our intake below.
Feeding Therapy
The Feeding Connection offers pediatric feeding therapy to support infants and children with feeding challenges. Our team focuses on connection, development, and evidence-based care to help families feel confident at the table.
Scale Rental
$10/day or $50/week
Your baby’s weight gain in the first couple of months of life is essential for brain health and overall growth and development. With scales made available by The Feeding Connection, taking a weight before feeding, feeding your baby, and then taking a weight after feeding can give you a very accurate understanding of how much your baby is taking in. Unlike many commercially available scales or changing pads, The Feeding Connection provides lactation-specific scale rentals, which are sensitive within 2 mL.
